In the latest of our cooking blogs, Mao shows you how to make delicious Mapo Tofo (麻婆豆腐). As always, she will help you learn Mandarin as she cooks. Before cooking, you should head to your local Chinese supermarket and buy Mapo Sauce, also called spicy bean sauce (麻婆酱), made by a Hong Kong brand Lee Kum Kee (李锦erfect) or chili bean paste (豆瓣酱). Mapo Tofu is not only delicious, it’s also simple to cook and goes perfectly with steamed rice. Three cheers for Chef Mao!
