
Noodles are very popular throughout China, with many families making noodles as a way to use up leftover food. In this video, Mao introduces her own recipe for braised beef noodle soup – with a few unexpected twists!
Ingredients: noodle, baicai (or any other green leaf vegetable), 3 tomatoes, 3 carrots, 1 potato, 1 onion, some spring onion, some ginger, thyme, and 400g beef, star anise, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, sesame oil, vinegar, and 1 breakfast tea bag.
